The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Monday that ESPN is exercising a six-day option for selecting kickoff time for Georgia Tech's Oct. 10 matchup  at Clemson.

The conference will announce the time and TV network for the game no later than noon Sunday. The ACC must decide its marquee game between the Tech-Clemson game and the meeting between Miami and Florida State Oct. 10.

Georgia Tech defeated Clemson 28-6 last season in Atlanta. The Jackets are 57-27-2 all-time against the Tigers.

Georgia Tech, recovering from a 34-20 loss at Duke, hosts North Carolina at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Bobby Dodd Stadium. The game will be broadcast on ESPNU.
