Charles Wiley, a defensive end from Stockbridge, was on the Ole Miss list early and stayed with the Rebels and was so sold that he signed financial-aid papers early and enrolled in January.

Three things to know about Wiley:

1. No to Crimson Tide: Wiley committed to Ole Miss last March. A month later, Alabama shipped an offer. It didn't matter. Wiley stayed a Rebel, graduated from Stockbridge early and enrolled at Ole Miss on Jan. 21.

2. Sackmaster: Wiley, a 6-foot-3, 235-pound pass rusher from weakside defensive end, had 16.5 sacks his senior season at Stockbridge.

3. 'Destined for greatness': "Charles is an incredible athlete with a great work ethic," Stockbridge coach Kevin Whitley said. "He is a high-character kid who is destined for greatness."
