Three-star defensive end Kelton Dawson plans to visit Georgia Tech during the weekend of Jan. 20.

Dawson, is uncommitted and unsure of his top schools as of January, but Tech could draw Dawson with the campus being less than 30 minutes from his hometown of Stockbridge, Ga. During his visit, Dawson is looking for clarity about what Tech’s program looks like and how he could fit.

“(I want coaches) to keep it real and down to earth with me and stay committed the whole way through with me,” Dawson said. “Early playing time on the team (is important.)”

Dawson received an offer from the Yellow Jackets in December.

Dawson, a 6-foot-3, 242 pound senior from Stockbridge High School has 18 total offers for next season including Appalachian State, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Illinois, Kentucky, Mercer, Missouri, Purdue and West Virginia, according to 247 Sports.
