Jayden George, the son of former Atlanta Falcons quarterback Jeff George, visited Athens this weekend.
The 6-foot-3 Indiana native is a pro-style quarterback is in the 2019 class. Jayden George tweeted about his visit: “Had an awesome visit at the University of Georgia this weekend.”
The Bulldogs have some room on the depth chart following the departure of 5-star quarterback Justin Fields to Ohio State. George is not listed on 247Sports' composite rankings.
Jayden George also has drawn interests of Georgia Tech, Michigan, Miami and Tennessee.
The Falcons traded first-round and third-round picks in 1994, and their first-round pick in 1996 to acquire Jeff George from Indianapolis. George passed for 8,575 yards and 50 touchdowns in 35 games with Atlanta. He played a decade in the NFL for the Falcons, Colts, Vikings, Raiders, Redskins, Seahawks and Bears.
