Georgia had yet another shake-up in its secondary on Saturday and the new unit seemed to work well together as the Bulldogs collected four interceptions against Missouri.

Safety Quincy Mauger had two interceptions and Damian Swann and Dominick Sanders with one each.

They represented threee-fifths of yet another revamped secondary for Georgia. Brendan Langley started at cornerback for the first time in a year as defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt utilized his sixth different defensive lineup in six games this season. That includes five different groups in the defensive backfield.

Langley, a sophomore, started four games as a freshman last year at cornerback but was abruptly moved to offense and wide receiver after spring practice concluded back in May. Langley was moved back to defense before last Saturday’s game against Vanderbilt and played a couple of snaps against the Commodores. But he got the start at strong corner against Missouri.

“I just thought, ‘it’s my time to go out there and show everybody what I can do,’” Langley said after the game. “I just went out and played my game and go make plays. The opportunity was presented to me and I felt like I took advantage of it. I guess I did allright. Not too bad for my first time back.”
