Purdue grabs Wheeler WR, a longtime commit

Benaiah Franklin, a 6-foot-1, 206-pound wide receiver from Wheeler High in Marietta was among a class of 23 for Purdue University. He signed his letter of intent on Wednesday.

He committed to the Boilermakers last June. He had been offered by Appalachian State, Georgia State and Georgia Southern.
