For Thursday night’s home game against N.C. State, Georgia Tech will have a smaller group of high-school prospects making unofficial visits than usual, perhaps owing to the game being played on a school night. Among the two most important are two seniors who have committed to coach Geoff Collins’ 2020 signing class, wide receiver Nate McCollum of Dutchtown High and defensive end Khaya Wright from Miami, Fla.

Among other visitors expected for the game:

» Jakob Foss, junior quarterback, Huntsville, Ala., three stars. Scholarship offers: Kentucky, Troy. Foss has not reported an offer from Tech, but is making at least his second visit to Tech.

» Jaquez Smith, junior wide receiver, Hapeville Charter, four stars. Other offers: Georgia, Alabama, LSU. Smith, rated the No. 13 player in the state of Georgia among juniors, visited Tech in April.

» Royce White, junior defensive end, Troup County, unrated. Other offers: Nebraska, Purdue, Memphis. Troup County is one of the schools that Collins visited on a helicopter tour in January. White has visited Tech previously.

» Nathaniel Wiggins, junior athlete, Grady High, three stars. Other offers: Florida, Virginia, Mississippi State. Wiggins tweeted his offer from Tech on Monday.
