Entering Georgia Tech’s spring game Friday night, Yellow Jackets quarterback TaQuon Marshall has a firm grip as the team’s No. 1 quarterback, with teammates Lucas Johnson and Tobias Oliver competing for the No. 2 job.

Marshall rushed for 1,146 yards last season, including 249 against Tennessee in the season opener at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. His passing numbers were a little off the mark, however. He completed only 37.1 percent of his passes, but he told the AJC's Tech beat writer Ken Sugiura that he's seeing progress in his passing game this spring.

Tech’s spring game begins at 7 p.m. Friday at Bobby Dodd Stadium. The game brings spring practice to an end, leaving a long void until preseason camp begins in August. To help fill the void, take a look at the video above to find nine things you may not know about TaQuon Marshall, whose play will be a big key to the Jackets’ success in 2018.
