Three-star wide receiver and Georgia Tech prospect Marlon Williams committed to UCF on Tuesday evening.
Williams, a 6-foot, 205 pound senior from Mobile, Ala., was expected to announce his commitment on Wednesday in a ceremony at McGill-Toolen High School, but instead released a statement on Twitter on Tuesday evening. The statement read in part, "I would like to thank all the coaches that recruited me and thought enough of my talents to offer me a scholarship, but I am proud to announce that I will continue my education and football career at the University of Central Florida."
Williams was committed to Southern California, but withdrew his commitment on Jan. 10. Williams went on an official visit to Georgia Tech the weekend of Jan. 28.
Tech’s signing class sits at 24 members.
