Jones on why he chose Tech: "I got with a few of the redshirted guys and a few of the guys that were already down there and I could just tell we've got something big coming down there."

Jones on one of his goals for his time with the Yellow Jackets: "I just really want to do something that people want to be a part of. A lot of people go where something's already established. I really want to make Tech something."

Jones on his relationship with Tech coaches: "Coach (Paul) Johnson, he's very cool, he's a cool coach. He's a very cool, laid-back coach. Coach (Bryan) Cook, we both get along because both of us don't like to talk on the phone. We're texters."
