Mason earns praise after Wofford

Sept 2, 2014

Georgia Tech offensive line coach Mike Sewak said guard Shaquille Mason played “as good a football as he’s played for us” in the win over Wofford. Sewak also said that the offense blocked 57 players to the ground in 59 plays, close to the goal of a 1/1 ratio. Mason had 12 of the blocks. … The team practiced in shoulder pads and shorts Monday and, as is the Monday routine, did conditioning work at the end of practice. … Joel Meyers (play by play) and Brian Kinchen (color) will call Saturday’s Tech-Tulane game on ESPNews.
