Kickoff times for Georgia Tech’s first two games, both at Bobby Dodd Stadium, have been released.

The Yellow Jackets will play their season opener Thursday, Sept. 3 against Alcorn State at 7:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on the ACC’s regional sports networks, including Fox Sports South in the Atlanta market.

The second game, against Tulane Sept. 12, will kick off at 3:30 p.m. That game will also be aired on regional sports networks. The third game, at Notre Dame Sept. 19, had previously been announced as a 3:30 p.m. kickoff on NBC.

That Tech will play Alcorn State on television is an upgrade. Since the Tech-Samford game was broadcast on ESPNU in 2007, all of Tech’s games against FCS opponents have either been streamed online on ESPN3 or not televised at all.

Tech’s Thursday night game against Virginia Tech Nov. 12 has been set as a 7:30 p.m. start. The remainder of the kickoff times will be set once the season begins.
