Chaz Cheeks quit Kennesaw State’s football team on Sunday, according to coach Brian Bohannon.
Bohannon said Cheeks left because he wasn’t satisfied with his playing time.
Cheeks, a linebacker, transferred to Kennesaw State from Georgia Tech, where he played in 12 games in four years.
Cheeks played in eight games with four starts at Kennesaw State, finishing with 10 tackles.
He would have been honored on Saturday as one of the team’s five seniors before the game against Charleston Southern.
