Kennesaw State’s football team has added two transfers.

Mason Harris, a 6-foot-3, 235-pound defensive end, is transferring from South Carolina. He will have one year of eligibility remaining. Harris, a Ridgeland High graduate, had seven tackles, including one sack, last year.

Dante Blackmon, a 5-foot-11, 185-pound cornerback, is transferring from Appalachian State. He will have two years of eligibility remaining. Blackmon, an Eastside High graduate, is a former three-star prospect who made six starts in 2013 and three last year.

Both have signed grants-in-aid.

Kennesaw State coach Brian Bohannon said after signing day in February that he hoped to sign a few transfers in the spring, specifically to fill the rush end, cornerback and B-back positions.

The team may sign two more players, which would bring the program to 47 players on scholarship, 37 full scholarships used. FCS programs can divide up scholarships among players.
