Georgia Tech safety Isaiah Johnson has been ruled out of Saturday’s game against Tulane with a hamstring injury. Johnson did not practice this week after suffering the injury against Wofford in last Saturday’s season opener.

It leaves the Yellow Jackets without a starter of 30 games against a team that figures to rely heavily on the passing game. In their season-opening double-overtime loss at Tulsa last Thursday, the Green Wave threw 44 times out of 74 plays from scrimmage.

There were two other Jackets on the injury report. Guard Nick Brigham will miss his second game after suffering a concussion in the preseason. Backup quarterback Brady Swilling is also listed as out (hand), although he was unlikely to play regardless.
