R.J. Hunter has signed with The Legacy Agency, the same company that represents his father Ron, to pursue marketing opportunities.

R.J. Hunter, who recently led Georgia State into the third round of the NCAA tournament, is projected to be a mid-to-late first-round pick in June’s NBA draft.

Ron Hunter, coach of the Panthers for the past four years, has been a Legacy client for 12 years.

A spokesman for the company said the Hunters could serve in a father/son role in possible spots, or individually.

The Hunters became a national story after R.J. hit a 3-pointer to defeat Baylor in the NCAA tournament. The shot caused Ron Hunter to fall off his chair, setting off memes, hundreds of tweets and dozens of interview requests from media around the nation.

R.J. Hunter chose to leave Georgia State after the tournament to pursue a career as a professional. He signed with Mark Bartelstein of Priority Sports and Entertainment. Hunter is in Chicago working out in preparation for the upcoming NBA combine.
