Henry scores 27 as Clark Atlanta tops Morehouse

Jan 27, 2019Shelvick Henry scored 27 points Saturday as Clark Atlanta defeated Atlanta University Center rival Morehouse 68-60 in front of a capacity crowd at Clark Atlanta’s Epps Gymnasium.
Jalen Mitchell added 14 points for the Panthers, who improved to 10-9 overall and 7-5 in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) with the victory. Michael Olmert had 15 points and Omar Alston had 11 points and 14 rebounds for the Maroon Tigers (15-3, 9-3 SIAC).
The teams will meet again Feb. 9 at Morehouse’s Forbes Arena.
