Everybody needs a break now and then. Even college football teams. So many of them are spending this weekend giving thanks that they’re either off or playing a team that needs a new weight room or iPads for its players. Remember Fat Check Saturday (FCS) in September? It’s back, so here are five choices among the slim pickings.

Boston College at Florida State, 3:30 p.m., ABC: The Seminoles must have grabbed some of that Auburn charm when they played last year. Another game. Another rally. Another win. Boston College has a strong ground game and defense, and had a week off, but FSU's win streak likely will grow to 27 games.

Ole Miss at Arkansas, 3:30 p.m., CBS: With that 17-game SEC losing streak in the rearview mirror, Arkansas would love to win its second straight conference game. The Rebels should be warned. This has all the makings of a trap game, with the Egg Bowl on the horizon.

Louisville at Notre Dame, 3:30 p.m., NBC: The Irish fell out of the rankings in large part because Everett Golson can longer keep the ball out of opponents' hands (19 turnovers in the past seven games). That's fine with Louisville's Gerod Holliman, who leads the FBS with 13 interceptions.

Missouri at Tennessee, 7:30 p.m., ESPN: The Tigers embrace road trips. They've won nine consecutive away from home, including in tough places such as Kyle Field, The Swamp and Williams-Brice. Georgia fans will be eager to see if the Volunteers can knock Missouri off and out of the SEC Championship game.

USC at UCLA, 8 p.m., ABC: It would be nice for Keith Jackson to come out of retirement to call this great rivalry, even though these teams have combined for five losses. This annual game has great uniforms, great pageantry and great QBs in USC's Cody Kessler and UCLA's Brett Hundley.
