Georgia Tech women’s basketball team will play in the WNIT, the third consecutive year that the Yellow Jackets have received entry into the postseason tournament.

Tech will play Jacksonville on Thursday night at McCamish Pavilion. The game time will be determined Tuesday.

The Jackets have made either the NCAA Tournament or the NIT in 10 of the past 11 seasons, but have been to the NCAA Tournament once in the past five seasons. Tech is 17-14 and was 5-11 in the ACC, good for 10th place.

With a win, Tech would advance to play the winner of the Central Florida-Stetson game.

Jacksonville is 23-8 and finished third in the Atlantic Sun Conference. Tickets to the game are $3.
