Georgia Tech wide receiver Michael Summers has left the team, coach Paul Johnson said Monday.
“Just said he didn’t want to play anymore,” Johnson said.
Summers, a junior, has started 26 games in his career and is second on the team in receptions with 12. He was the most experienced wide receiver on the roster and had started seven of Tech’s nine games this season.

Georgia Tech has three games remaining on the schedule.
The Jackets are at home Thursday night to host Virginia Tech at Bobby Dodd Stadium (7:30 p.m., ESPN). Tech will honor its 1990 National Championship team at halftime. On Monday, the ACC anounced that Tech's game at Miami on Nov. 21 will kick off at 12:30 p.m. and be televised on the ACC Network. Georgia Tech closes out the regular season Nov. 28 at home against Georgia.
