Former Georgia Tech star Josh Okogie has been named to play in the Rising Stars Challenge at the NBA’s All-Star weekend for the second year in a row. The announcement was made Friday.

The game will be played Feb. 14 in Chicago, two days before the NBA All-Star game.

Okogie, who is averaging 8.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 45 games this season for the Minnesota Timberwolves, will play for Team World against Team USA in a competition of the league’s top first-and second-year players.

Okogie, a first-round pick in 2018 coming out of Tech following his sophomore season, was born in Nigeria and holds dual U.S.-Nigeria citizenship.
