Georgia State assistant men’s basketball coach Everick Sullivan has been named the head coach at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, N.C.

The Bears are a Division II school that play in the South Atlantic Conference.

Sullivan has been with coach Ron Hunter since he was hired before the 2011 season. Sullivan has primarily coached the forwards and centers.

His replacement hasn’t been named.

Before joining Georgia State, Sullivan was an associate head coach at Eastern Kentucky for three seasons. He played at Louisville.
