Who: Georgia State at Oregon

When: 2 p.m. Saturday

Three things to know

1. Georgia State won its first game this season, a 34-32 triumph over New Mexico State, Saturday. It was its first FBS win. Now Georgia State will attempt to beat the odds and defeat a team from one of the power conferences.

2. The Panthers rushed for 210 yards Saturday, the most since Trent Miles took over the program after the 2012 season. However, the team will be without Taz Bateman, who suffered a broken forearm in the game. The group going to Oregon will include Kyler Neal, Marcus Caffey and DeMarcus Kirk.

3. The result may end up as blowout, but don’t forget that the Panthers led Washington 14-0 at halftime last year before the Huskies ran away with a 45-14 result. That loss was devastating because running backs Neal and Jonathan Jean-Bart and defensive end Mackendy Cheridor suffered season-ending injuries in the game.

Player to watch: Georgia State offense

QB Nick Arbuckle. Georgia State won't face another defense this year as big and as fast as Oregon's. To try to keep the game close, Arbuckle must make the right reads and put his teammates in the right spots before the snap. He must also be decisive in his reads and throws.

Player to watch: Georgia State defense

CB Bruce Dukes. Dukes set a school record with six pass breakups last week. He likely will be left in man-to-man coverage this week so that the Panthers can commit as many players as possible to stopping the run. Dukes must limit the yards after catch by whichever receiver he defends.

Player to watch: Oregon offense

QB Vernon Adams. In his first season at Oregon, he has rushed 28 times for 100 yards and completed 41 of 64 passes for 555 yards and three touchdowns. There are conflicting reports whether Adams will play Saturday because of a broken finger sustained in the opener.

Player to watch: Oregon defense

DE DeForest Buckner. Buckner was a Pac-12 all-conference player last season and has the size (6-foot-7, 290 pounds) to wreck Georgia State's offensive line.
