Georgia State has added another running back and another defensive lineman to its 2015 signing class.
The university announced on Wednesday that Taz Bateman and Marterious Allen have signed and will enroll during the summer semester.
Bateman, 5-foot-8, 185 pounds, averaged more than 160 all-purpose yards per game at Long Beach City College in California. He joins running back signees Kendrick Dorn and Demarcus Kirk in a backfield that returns just one player with experience, Kyler Neal.
Allen, 6-2, 240 pounds, earned all-state honors at Hart County High School. He joins signees defensive linemen signees Julien Laurent and DeQueszman Kelley in a group that includes returnees Shawayne Lawrence, Jalen Lawrence, Tevin Jones, Mackendy Cheridor and Carnell Hopson.
Georgia State, which went 1-11 last year, will begin spring practice on March 9.
