Georgia State's first road test of the 2016 season features unique challenges.

The Panthers travel across the country to Colorado Springs, Colo., to face at Air Force at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Georgia State's challenges at Falcons Stadium will be Air Force's option attack and the altitude.

Panthers coach Trent Miles has coached at Air Force's Falcon Stadium four times on the staff of New Mexico, Hawaii, Fresno State and Notre Dame.

Unable to do much about the climate conditions, Miles and his staff are focusing more on what they will face on the field from Troy Calhoun's Falcons (1-0).

"They are an excellent program and team," Miles said. "They looked very good in their opening game against Abilene Christian. They threw the ball well, and of course they're always going to run the ball."

This will be the first of three straight road games for the Panthers. Next week, Georgia State is at Wisconsin, followed by a Sun Belt Conference matchup Oct. 1 at Appalachian State.
