Georgia and Notre Dame will meet in prime time Sept. 21, the network announced Tuesday morning.

The game will begin at 8 p.m. at Sanford Stadium, part of a CBS doubleheader that day.

Brad Nessler, Gary Danielson and sideline reporter Jamie Erdahl will call the Georgia-Notre Dame game. CBS will reveal the teams for the first game of the doubleheader later.

The Fighting Irish will make their first trip to Athens. The teams played at Notre Dame on Sept. 9, 2017, when Georgia won 21-19. They met in the Sugar Bowl after the 1980 season, when Georgia won 17-10 to finish an unbeaten season as national champions.
