It’s been a dominant year for the Georgia Bulldogs.
The third-ranked Bulldogs face Oklahoma in the 2018 Rose Bowl Jan. 1 in Pasadena, Calif. Their first appearance in a College Football Playoff game is among this season's notable firsts:
• Jake Fromm: First of seven freshman Georgia quarterbacks - dating back to 1991 - to start and win against Florida in Jacksonville.
• We're No. 1! Georgia's No. 1 ranking in the first playoff rankings of the 2017 season was the first time they charted in the top spot of any poll since 2008.
• Rules the East: For the first time since divisions were established in 1992, Georgia went undefeated in the SEC East.
• SEC Championship: First meeting - of 122 - against Auburn in a conference title game.
• Playoffs! The Bulldogs' first SEC title since 2005 put them in College Football Playoffs for first time in school history.
