Believe it or not, Georgia men's basketball coach Tom Crean managed to squeeze another recruit into his heralded recruiting class of 2019.

Michael Peake, a 6-foot-7 forward from Kansas City, announced via Twitter on Monday that he'd accepted a scholarship offer from the Bulldogs and planned to enroll for fall semester. Peake was a late academic qualifier. UGA classes begin next Wednesday.

“I'm excited to announce my commitment to the University of Georgia,” Peake said on Twitter. “Coach Crean has a long history of developing players at the highest level. “I'm excited to give him a chance to develop me.”

Recruiting analysts say Peake has shown steady and sharp improvement in summer-league play. He was considered one of the best players on the floor in last week's Peach Jam all-star showcase in Augusta.

At Georgia, Peake will join a recruiting class that was already ranked No. 5 in the country and included six other members. He joins the nation's No. 2 prospect in Anthony Edwards, four other Top 100-rated players and a Division 1 transfer.
