D’Andre Swift just lost two yards. Seeing how the Vanderbilt game is long over, there’s no way for Swift to get them back.

The Commodores on Thursday informed Georgia that they made a mistake on the official game stats in Saturday's game, a 30-6 win for the Bulldogs. A penalty on Georgia was entered as 12 yards rather than 10. As a result, Swift was credited with a 9-yard rush rather than what should have been seven on the next play.

It’s not a big deal, as Swift still finished with 147 yards on 16 plays. But it does require quite a few statistical alteration from the Bulldogs’ first game.

Such as:
• Georgia's rushing yards for the game (now 323).
• Swift's rushing yards for the game (now 147) and average yards per rush (now 9.2).
• Georgia's total offense for the game (now 479).
• Georgia's all-purpose yards for the game (now 581).
• Georgia's penalty yards for the game (now 115).

Here’s hoping Georgia's stat crews keeps the official numbers straight against Murray State on Saturday. There are liable to be some big ones.
