Former UGA player Slonaker joins broadcast team
Former Georgia basketball player Mark Slonaker will join the Bulldogs' radio team as color analyst on men's basketball broadcasts this coming season.
Slonaker played for Georgia in the late 1970s and later was an assistant coach at Georgia and head coach at Mercer. Since July 2008, he has worked for the UGA Office of Development as a regional director in fundraising.
Slonaker will join play-by-play voice Scott Howard on the men's basketball broadcasts. Jeff Dantzler will continue to call play-by-play on the UGA women's basketball broadcasts.
