Former Tech commit verbally commits to SEC school

Mandeville, La. kicker Joseph Bulovas who withdrew his commitment from Georgia Tech on Monday has verbally committed to Alabama.

Bulovas, one of the top kickers in the 2017 recruiting class, announced his commitment on Twitter on Wednesday afternoon writing in part, "I would like to announce that I will be playing college football on scholarship for the Crimson Tide at The University of Alabama."

On Monday, Bulovas announced his decommitment from Georgia Tech on Twitter writing that he felt he had “better opportunities elsewhere.”

Bulovas is expected to visit Alabama on Friday after going on an official visit to Georgia Tech the weekend of Jan. 20, according to Scout.com. Bulovas committed to Tech in June.
