Georgia Tech has added to its 2020 recruiting class with Dutchtown High wide receiver Nate McCollum, a three-star prospect who also could play baseball for the Yellow Jackets.

McCollum, who was committed to N.C. State from late March through late September, announced his decision to commit to Tech Friday through his Twitter account.

“Dreams to reality,” McCollum’s tweet read. “I’m officially committed to the Georgia Institute of Technology as a Dual Sport Athlete.”

McCollum, listed at 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds, is rated the No. 464 prospect nationally and the No. 49 player in the state of Georgia (247Sports Composite). He is the fifth wide receiver and 11th prospect from the state of Georgia in the class, now at 22 players. According to his 247Sports recruiting page, he has run the 40-yard dash in 4.41 seconds.

McCollum had also reported scholarship offers from Michigan, Michigan State and Tennessee.
