Dogs face tough test on road vs. Gamecocks

• Georgia is trying to win its first road game this season in its seventh attempt. South Carolina took both games from the Bulldogs last season.

• In games through Thursday, the Gamecocks ranked seventh in the NCAA in turnover margin at plus-4.8. Georgia was 314th at minus-3.2.

• South Carolina forward Sam Muldrow was eighth in the NCAA in blocked shots at 3.4 per game through Thursday.

• Georgia forward Trey Thompkins was 19-of-25 from the field in his past two games, including 5-of-6 from 3-point range.
