Besides its first-year head coach, Georgia is taking one senior and two juniors to the SEC’s kickoff event next week.

Each team’s three player representatives to SEC media days were announced on Tuesday. Here are the trio from Georgia, which takes its turn on Tuesday:

  • Senior center Brandon Kublanow, set to be a third-year starter on Georgia's offensive line.
  • Junior tight end Jeb Blazevich, who has also started the better part of the previous two seasons.
  • Junior safety Dominick Sanders, who has started all but one game the past two seasons at Georgia. (The exception was when he was suspended one half because of targeting.)

None of the three choices is a particular surprise. Each of those players were frequently selected by the team for media interviews over the past couple years, especially this past spring practice.

Of course, almost all the attention next week for Georgia will be on Kirby Smart, the team’s new head coach.
