Johnson has returned two kicks for TDs this season. … LB Eddie Johnson (North Atlanta) didn't play Saturday and didn't practice Monday for what was called a football-related issue. The team's second-leading tackler returned to practice Tuesday.

The Tar Heels have given up 1,188 yards their past two games. … The 68 points were the most allowed by North Carolina at home, the most allowed to an ACC opponent and the second-most allowed in school history.
