Alabama-VT will kick off at 5:30 p.m.

National champion Alabama will play Virginia Tech at 5:30 p.m. in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game on Aug. 31.
The game will be nationally televised by ESPN.
The Tide defeated the Hokies 34-24 in the 2009 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game.
Alabama went 13-1 last year, defeating Notre Dame in the BCS National Championship game.
The Hokies went 7-6 last year, defeating Rutgers in the Russell Athletic Bowl.
Tickets to the game are being sold through the university ticket offices. No tickets will be available through the Chick-fil-A Bowl office.
