Georgia Tech will host dozens of high-school prospects on unofficial visits for its Saturday home game against Virginia Tech. Probably the most significant is Jayson Jones, a senior defensive tackle from Calera, Ala., who has been committed to Alabama since July 2018.

Jones visited Tech in April and made an official visit in June. While the four-star prospect remains committed to Alabama, his continued interest in Tech indicates that coach Geoff Collins still has a shot at the No. 174 prospect in the country (247 Sports Composite). The highest-rated prospect committed to Tech's 2020 signing class is cornerback Miles Brooks of Jacksonville, Fla., at No. 214.

Others who are expected – Tech commits Wing Green (offensive tackle from Lee County High), Cade Kootsouradis (offensive tackle from Crestview, Fla.) and Tyson Meiguez (linebacker from Creekside High).
