Georgia Tech freshman guards Justin Moore and Josh Okogie were named to the All-ACC academic team Monday. To be eligible for consideration, athletes must have earned a 3.0 GPA for the previous semester and maintained a cumulative 3.0 for their academic careers.

Moore and Okogie have both played central roles in the Yellow Jackets’ success this season. Okogie, from Shiloh High, leads the team in scoring at 15.6 points per game and is on track to become the ninth Tech freshman to lead the team in scoring.

Moore, from San Diego, has started 18 games and played in 27 of the Jackets’ 30 games, averaging 20.6 minutes per game. He is second on the team in assists with 75.

Both are business administration majors. There were 27 players altogether. Louisville had the most representatives with six.
