College football's national champion will be decided in a new playoff system consisting of four teams, playing in two semifinal bowl games and then a national championship game. The semifinal games (noted with an asterik - *) will be played on New Year's Day with the national title game on a Monday night a week later. Here are the 2014-15 bowl matchups:
