Georgia remains No. 3 in AP college football poll

The top eight on the Associated Press college football poll released Sunday remained the same – including Georgia holding the No. 3 spot after its bye week.

Alabama (8-0) and Penn State (7-0) , both easy winners Saturday, kept the top two spots in the Week 9 poll. Georgia (7-0) is followed by TCU, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Clemson and Miami. Notre Dame jumped six places into the top 10 at No. 9, replacing Oklahoma which dropped to No. 10, after a win over USC.

USC dropped 11 spots to No. 21 after the loss to Notre Dame and Michigan dropped 10 spots to No. 25 after the loss to Penn State.

Georgia Tech is No. 30 with eight votes after a week out of all consideration.

Georgia faces Florida on Saturday in the continuation of their rivalry.
