New Florida defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin got a big raise and now is under contract for the next two seasons.

The University Athletic Association released the contracts of Durkin, who was promoted from linebackers coach and special teams coordinator, Joker Phillips and Brad Lawing in response to a Freedom of Information Act request by multiple media outlets.

Durkin will receive a base salary of $490,000 for the next two years. His previous salary was $340,000.

Phillips, the former Kentucky head coach, will make $265,000 each of the next two years as UF’s receivers coach and recruiting coordinator. Lawing, the co-defensive line coach and assistant head coach, will make $390,000 per season over three years.

Lawing, who came from South Carolina, also got a $50,000 signing bonus and will get another $50,000 if stays through the end of his deal.

All UF coaches receive $10,000 from Nike for wearing its gear. They also get use of a dealer car.
