Loyola Chicago and Kansas State advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament by winning games in the South Regional at Philips Arena Thursday night.

Loyola beat Nevada in the first game and Kansas State upset Kentucky in the second Sweet 16 game.

Loyola and Kansas State play Saturday at 6:09 p.m. with the winner going to the Final Four.
