Levi Meyer added a two-run single in the eighth for the Owls (24-12, 10-5 Sun Belt), who are tied with South Alabama and Western Kentucky atop the conference standings.

Owls reliever Jake Meiers (3-2) pitched three hitless innings to earn the win. Dalton Henzman was 2-for-4 with a two-run double for the Blue Raiders (20-18, 6-9).
