The Cavaliers' Game 7 win over the Golden State Warriors to claim the NBA Finals ended Clevelands' 52-year drought between championships - the longest in pro sports.
So which cities (with mulitple pro teams) have had the longest await since title glory? If you guessed Atlanta, you're close.

Just count your blessings that you're not in Charlotte, Buffalo, San Diego and Nashville -- cities with pro teams to have never claimed a championship.
Ugh, Scott Norwood.
Here's a look at the pro towns that have claimed one title and desperately await another.
No. 5: Atlanta
It's been 21 years since the Braves won their only World Series -- 1995 vs. Cleveland Indians. The Hawks reached the NBA's Eastern Conference Finals last year for the first time, but were thwarted by the Cavs. The Falcons reached the Super Bowl in 1998, but failed in their bid to bring the Lombardi Trophy to Atlanta. But, hey, the city will get to celebrate a champion when we host Super Bowl 53 in three years!

No. 4: Toronto
The Canadian city last celebrated a championship in 1993 when the Blue Jays walked off with a World Series win over the Philadelphia Phillies. The Raptors had a chance to best Cleveland in the Eastern Conference Finals, but alas it was not meant to be.
No. 3: Washington, D.C.
The Washington Redskins have won three Super Bowls, their last was in 1991. The nation's capital's championship drought extends 25 years. The closest any team has come to champagne have been the Capitals, who were swept in the 1998 Stanley Cup Finals.

No. 2: Cincinnati
Cities in Ohio can't stand winning. Cincinnati's drough stretches 26 years to when the Reds swept the Oakland A's to win their fifth World Series. The Bengals' Super Bowl appearance stretches much longer.
No. 1: Milwaukee
The Braves won a World Series in Milwaukee in 1957 before moving to Atlanta in 1966. Their replacement, the Brewers, appeared in the 1982 Fall Classic, but lost in seven games to the St. Louis Cardinals. It has been, however, 45 years since the city tasted champagne when the Bucks won the NBA title over Baltimore with Lew Alcindor and Oscar Robterson at the helm.
So which of these cities will be the next to win it all?
