The Chick-fil-A Bowl and the ACC have extended their agreement that gives the bowl the first pick of non-BCS teams from the conference through the 2013 season. The existing contract between the bowl and the conference was extended by four years.

The ACC has had a tie-in with the Chick-fil-A Bowl since 1992 and has given the bowl its first non-BCS pick since 2006. Discussions with the SEC to extend their contract are ongoing. The bowl game gets the fifth pick of SEC teams not in a BCS game.
