Former NBA star and current analyst Charles Barkley is catching heat for saying he wanted to punch Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green in the face on Tuesday.

On TNT’s “Inside the NBA” during the halftime break of the Warriors-Pelicans game, Barkley made his comment after Green was involved in a heated altercation with Pelicans’ Rajon Rondo as both teams headed to their respective locker rooms.

Barkley initially said he wanted “someone” to punch Green in the face due to the altercation, but then said he himself wanted “to punch his (expletive) in the face, I do.”

Green responded to Barkley’s comment after the game.

“If you feel that strongly about something, he’s seen me a million times, if you feel that strongly, then punch me in my face when you see me,” Green said during his post-game press conference. “If you’re not going to punch me in my face when you see me, then shut up.”
