Georgia landed its fifth commitment of the 2021 class when offensive lineman Micah Morris announced his decision on Twitter Wednesday.

Morris is a 4-star prospect from Camden County High School and Kingsland, Ga.

Morris is the fifth in-state commitment for UGA. He’s  the second offensive commitment, joining 5-star quarterback Brock Vandagriff.

Morris is rated as the No. 73 player in the class and the No. 11 offensive tackle. Morris could also play guard in college.

Prior to his commitment, Morris had announced a list of his final five schools under consideration, consisting of Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Florida and Florida State.

Georgia has commitments from four of the state’s top 12 players.

Morris is the first offensive line commitment in the class. The Bulldogs are heavily pursuing 4-star prospects Terrence Ferguson and Dylan Fairchild to go along with 5-star offensive tackle Amarius Mims. All are from Georgia.

The Bulldogs signed seven offensive line prospects in the 2020 class.
