Baseball fans in Japan are already seeing the same talent and enthusiasm from Ronald Acuna that Braves fans saw this season.

Acuna is playing for an All-Star team of major leaguers in a series against their counterparts from Nippon Professional Baseball (see gallery, above).

Acuna had two hits Thursday, one of them a double, as the major-league stars beat the Yomiuri Giants, 9-6, in Tokyo. Acuna also struck out twice and scored a run.  Marlins catcher J.T. Realmuto hit a homer for the major-leaguers.

On Friday, Acuna went 0-for-5 with a strikeout in a, 7-6, loss to the Samurai Japan squad in the Tokyo Dome.

Acuna played center field and left field in both games.

The seven-game series runs though Nov. 15, with games being played in Tokyo, Hiroshima and Nagoya.
