Amid some recent franchise upheaval, these will be comforting words for many Braves fans: pitchers and catchers report to spring training on Feb. 13.

Braves pitchers and catchers have their first workout Feb. 14 at Lake Buena Vista, Fla., and the first full-squad workout is Feb. 19, one day after reporting day for other position players.

The Braves open their Grapefruit League schedule Feb. 26 against Detroit, then take a short bus ride to Lakeland, Fla., to face the Tigers again on Feb. 27.

Their 17-home schedule at Wide World of Sports is highlighted by Braves games against the Cardinals (March 15), Yankees (March 19) and World Series champion Red Sox (March 22), and three visits by the division rival Nationals (March 4, 6, 12).

After completing their Florida spring training schedule, the Braves play an annual game against their top prospects March 29, this time at the Class-A Rome affiliate. That’s a 1:05 p.m. Saturday game.

Braves single-game spring training tickets go on sale beginning Dec. 2 at the Wide World of Sports box office, through the Braves’ website (braves.com/springtraining) or Ticketmaster. Prices range from $12 lawn seating to $52 for lower level reserved. Ticket information for the exhibition game against Braves prospects in Rome will be announced later.
