Braves fans react to sweep of Cardinals, look ahead to Yankees

After the Braves lost four of six in their most recent homestand, fans began to worry a little as the team embarked on a 10-game road trip.
A three-game sweep of the Cardinals in St. Louis over the weekend quickly changed worry to excitement.
Following Sunday’s 6-5 win, fans took to Twitter to share their excitement and anticipation heading into tonight’s series opener against the Yankees in New York.
This is the first time the #Braves have swept the Cardinals in a 3️⃣ game series since May 11-13, 2012. #GoBraves #ChopUpChopDowñ #ChopOn

The #Braves swept that series in spite of the bullpen. Exciting weekend, great offensive display, but we can’t count on scoring 5, 11, or 6 every night. Bullpen moves have to be made.

Go Bravos!
This @Braves team is special but this bullpen is a huge liability right now. Hopefully some changes are made before the trade deadline. #Braves #MLB #TradeDeadline #ChopOn

#Braves will enter Monday’s series opener against the #Yankees with the best record in the National League (48-34). Yankees have the best record overall in MLB (54-27).

No matter what happens in NY, your @Braves are guaranteed to be in first place on July 4. Unbelievable, even for diehards like me. @FOX5Atlanta
